After the short press conference at Mactan International Airport, we headed to Summit Galleria Cebu to check in and take some quick rest. This impressive hotel is located within the Robinsons Galleria Cebu Lifestyle Complex offering direct access to the shopping mall itself! So if you like strolling in and out of the mall from time to time, I’m sure you’ll find it very convenient. International brand retail shops and service outlets are scattered around the area to elevate your shopping experience.
The Rooms
I stayed in a Suite Room and it’s really quite huge! It’s actually perfect for a digital nomad like me because apart from the huge space, they also have reliable and fast internet allowing me to work seamlessly whenever I want. The suite room also features several impressive facilities like a spacious bathroom, flatscreen TV with satellite and cable channels, and of course, powerful air conditioners!

The hotel also houses an all-day dining restaurant, café, and a bar made available to cater to and satisfy everyone’s gastronomic desires. I’ve been reading a lot of good reviews about Sugbo Mercado and I was really delighted when I found out that this will be our dinner place. This food hub was launched in January soon after Typhoon Odette heavily affected the city. Known for its trademark of an open-air food market concept, Sugbo Mercado Skypark offers a unique dining experience situated on top of Cebu’s biggest mall, SM Seaside City Cebu.

The Sugbo Mercado Skypark showcases Cebu’s beautiful food scene and culture. Over 20 vendors offer irresistible food choices from classic Cebuano delicacies, Filipino street foods, international cuisine, and even fusion dishes! As they always have, Cebu Pacific let me experience another amazing trip, and although the trip was short, I definitely enjoyed it.
